Actually, there was this one:

Technically it's a car, but not legal.
It went 1223.7 km/h (760.3 mph) and got 0.04 mpg XD

Sorry, but the correct speed in km/h is 1227.986 km/h (lol, quite a lot!)
And @nitro101 As soon as I get MM2 to get working on my skimpy netbook, I'll try making the THURST SuperSonic Car! (The full form)
