When MM2X is finally dead..what's going to happen to all of the cars? If you look at it, theoretically MM2X is one huge car database. With proper conversions, you can have yourself a 3D model of any car of your choice. Of course, there's the locked AR files, but many of the older ones aren't locked.

Where will all of the files go? That is basically the question xD

lol kidding, but do you mean to ask if the files will stay online in case the website dies? If so, then I think it will stay online.

Maybe you all haven't understood what the topic means. As 3D cars models database, MM2X has a good collection, and working a bit where possible (when the car release .ar file isn't locked) can be got the 3D models for other uses. However, needs to be said that a very good amount of cars models comes from other games, originals of them or people's scratch made for them, so is better consider the first origin of them as source to get the 3D model. Then there's also the copyright that the author of a 3D model can decide on how it has to be used, this is another discussion.
The discussion is a bit confusionary anyway, because is kinda normal reply only about where the files of this website will go if it'll close (ask only this if basically the question is right this, without have to put 3D cars models database discussions). Surely all the server's files will get deleted by the hoster when the contract gets broken, so someone would have to put them in another place (already made, MMArchive, for first). Nothing is sure and can be said about this for now, and clearly there's no intention of closing the website.

Caution Carking, you exceed a bit too much with the replies, and it's not the first time... Speaking about MMArchive, can be only said that now needs a great downloads update, continuing in its purpose and so really following what its name says.

Sorry. Didn't mean it that way.. Anyways. People actually need to submit cars to MMArchive in order for me to accept them.. I can't do my job without that.

but mm2x isn't a living organism. Therefore, it shall not die.

well i don't know what to say........i mean that nothing doesn't die but if you take care of that thing it will live for a longer time.only

If we still be active and still make mods, MM2X will stay longer.
