The MM2 Car Skin Changer program already includes these needed cars IDs, used to recognize the car in the program and do the possible changes, but because of this it's designed only for the cars add-ons made by HQTM-Team, same author of the program. In theory is possible make the cars IDs for any car, but it's complicate and are needed info about the car add-on that only its maker can get.
The quickest and easiest way to change the colors of a car is like for the sounds, as explained in your other topic, that's by making a patch .ar file or by editing the colors textures inside the car add-on .ar file when possible.
