Just wondering, how do you add blitz/circuit/checkpoint races in a track?

Here's a tutorial about how make new races on the own add-on city. Another alternative is to take the position values where you want to place the checkpoints by using MM2 City Toolkit program, and make the files for the race manually using already made bases.
It's not something easy and fast to do, and requires some time to understand it. However, if you were just wondering how to do this, this quick reply is enough.

Interesting, but is it possible to make unlockables?

You mean the possibility to unlock the default game cars by winning the races that you've made for the own track? Surely that's not possible, because it's related with the car properties (written in the .info file), and I think that the unlocking of the default game cars and paintjobs that are locked is joined only with the default cities races and Crash Course events.

It's probably possible, but it'd take a lot of understanding with the "_rewards.csv" files in the Race folder. For all I know, some of it may be hardcoded!

Oh and by the way, how do you change the race names?

You have to edit it in a file called sf.cinfo/london.cinfo. It's in the tune folder

Here's your answer:
Download Resource Hacker: Click here to download

Open MMLANG.DLL with that program and voila. Have fun.
Somewhere in the file you can find rows saying "Opponent 1", "Opponent 2", ect. Just change that, it will be changed for every race. I would recommend you making a backup before editing it cuz with bad luck it won't work!

And how do you make different routes for your opponents?

Sajmon made a tutorial about how add opponents in races time ago, here it is. It's a more tedious work than with the only checkpoints gates placing, and to have opponents to work the track must be made in PSDL and must have some roads and intersections for traffic.
