In celebration of RV5's release, I'm personally replaying the game. I got to one of my favorite Crash Courses in the whole game, and decided "What the hell, I'll record this!" Here's the result.

Midtown Madness 2 - Crash Course Gameplay

In this video, I play one of my favorite Crash Courses in MM2, the Round You'll Go level. Since I finished RV5, I decided to play through the game with the mod.

This is my first time doing this course in easily over a year. It's not my best run ever, but it's pretty good. First attempt, for the record.

Nice video and quality. I find this run very good, more than pretty good, you haven't crashed anything.

Midtown Madness 2 - Traffic Fail

So I was cruising through London, and noticed a traffic car was following me down this cobble pathway. I turned left, behind a building, and saw the traffic car come up near the water and freeze in my mirror. I turn around, and see it doing this...

DiRT 3 - Hardcore Race

I decided to run a rally race without the HUD, in the dash view, and (as always) on advanced difficulty. It was pretty thrilling to drive this way, and the AI made it surprisingly easy... I passed 2 people, and a wreck. :P

As always, I used a keyboard to drive.

Drive in DiRT 3 can be enough difficult on advanced difficulty and using the keyboard. Very nice flawless driving.

About the previous MM2 traffic car video, I remember that it happened to me too.

About time for an MM1 video. This is a 14 minute montage of a long cruise I had yesterday. Playing this game with maximum physics realism in the snow can lead to alot of unexpected things.. I also tried out my own trick, a reverse 180, several times. Anyone else know how to do one in MM1? It's tricky.

Midtown Madness - Snowy Cruise Gameplay

In this video, I take my Panoz Roadster out for a cruise in the snow, and get into all kinds of crashes and do other dumb/crazy things. I actually didn't intend to record this, but apparently I accidentally hit the button somewhere along the line. So I decided to put together the somewhat interesting parts and make a montage of it.
Most of the video is me just screwing around, trying to tame this thing with maximum physics realism, although some pretty funny and cool things happen throughout. I also managed to figure out how to do a reverse 180! Funny how they advertised that as a new feature in MM2... however, the best one I managed to pull off is at the very end. Naturally, it goes better when you aren't sliding all over the snow.

Also, for those of you wondering why my game looks so amazingly sexy and mindblowingly awesome (u jelly, admit it), I'm using my own mod, MM1 Revisited V2. You can get it here: https://www.mediafire.com/?g8zae4d71qd5u8s
It does alot of things to make the game better, most noticeably improve the graphics. It also does several smaller things to polish out the 'rough edges' of the game.

Very nice video and driving. The smoke would had to be enabled through its cheat.
It's a known fact how much realistic is the physics of MM1 vehicles, and for some reason the developer didn't do the same with MM2; one should be to make the gameplay easier.

Smoke on snow? Nah...
Its enabling was needed to have the damages one, but at the end don't have it isn't so bad. I agree that the smoke on snow isn't appropriate and good to see, bad that's visible with snowy weather (and, MM1 smoke is generally worse than MM2 smoke, another known fact).

Well I'm working on improving some more things. It is possible to have tire smoke invisible during winter with a transparent _WIN texture. I'll post all about it in my MM1 Revisited topic soon.
