i had some time to spend today so i created new user Ranks for the forum.. and I replaced the old stars with a better ranking layout

i'm here for any suggestion!

Now we have 12 Ranks:

MM2 eXtreme Owner:

MM2X Supporter (who supported MM2X with a donation):

MM2X Super Active User (2000+ Posts):


MM2X Very Active User (1000+ Posts):

MM2X Occasional User (250+ Posts):


MM2X Junior User (60+ Posts):


MM2X Newbie (1 to 59 Posts):

I think it might be better if you just use the blocks and take away the bottom loading bar. You could then have a certain color for each type/group maybe. Or maybe just one for members, one for admin/moderator, and one for owner/staff member.

They have a good look and are a nice addition.

Nice, they look good. Nice job promoting the members too, the ranks make sense. However, I can think of a few people who deserve the VIP rank though.

But otherwise, it looks great! You should probably make graphics for ALL of the ranks, though...it looks really stupid with half stars, half AWESOME graphics

Nice update for this DjDecibel, these new bars are good. I thought about do a small update to the ranking system, but you've got a better changing idea.
Maybe the various posts number required to go on the successive rank can be increased a bit more, and the special ranks should look more different. However, measure the members activity though posts isn't so much correct, but I know that's the only possible way to have an automized ranking system.
For the VIP rank I thought about some rules of the minimum requisites to get it, and it can even be lost when some of them aren't anymore respected. Soon uptades about the assignments.

About the numer of posts, i saw the number of posts that the most active users have and i created the ranks starting from that..
we have about 15/20 users on each rank.. and it's good.. in the future we can increase the limit

Just found a graphical glitch. The little silver line right under the...blocks(??) is as long as the "Super Active" member one from Newbie - Occasional. You'll have to look closely to see what I mean.

Edit: Thanks Dj! the new ranks look amazing. The starts were a bit drab and boring, haha. And didn't match the flow of the site.
