I played it on another crappy PC and it worked on medium resolution with a satisfactory frame rate. That crappy PC specs: Pentium 4, Windows XP, 1 GB RAM, - can't remember anymore..

Wow, Intel Atom (basically Pentium 4) and 1667 Mhz should work, I think. Nice shots!

I have Combat Flight Simulator 1 and Combat Flight Simulator 3. the first one is similar to Flight Simulator 98, you can even import a Boeing 747 from Flight Simulator 98 and it's scenery into Combat Flight Simulator!!!!
Sadly, I dont have Combat Flight Simulator II, which is what i've been wanting for a while.
This is for Windows 95-Windows XP originally, but it's possible on a Windows 7. PS: I rock at CFS. I shoot those Messerschmitts down so fast, they didn't know what hit them.
You SHOULD use a Joystick, and if you need a good joystick, the Logitech Wingman Digital 3D is a "joyful-to-have-stick" compared to my lame Microsoft Sidewinder (not a force feedback joystick).

I also have this, but it doesn't works in my P.C. from some months. The best thing I done in this simulator was: Drowning ships & submarines!
