Modeling and texturing is all done by you, you said, but is really so? Those colored blocks with bridges and ramps look the ones of a very old little add-on map made for MM2, called Choco Mountain... Now, if you really have this map post a link to download it to let others see it, or I'll do it.

I have done all from scratch, I have never even heard of Choco Mountain. I will put up for download soon!
Choco Mountain is a semi-correct version of Block Fort. I just noticed that, I made this from scratch this morning, Paul knows it.
EDIT : The making of the map

I'm really sorry, I've been terribly wrong. Only now that I've switched on my PC with the MM related stuff I've been able to check all and realize my error, this is really a work of yours (and great too). Again sincere apologies.
They're really similar indeed, probably Choco Mountain was right inspired by the Fort Block map in Mario Kart games series. Here a screenshot of Choco Mountain map (there are visibility problems related with the modeling, because of polygons covered by other polygons).
Now I've also reminded that years ago Riva modeled the same kind of map, the real Fort Block map in a Mario Kart game series, like yours. Here the topic. He thanked you for the idea.
What coincidences...
Keep up your great work.

I dont know if its deja vu, but I think this is not my first time seeing this map before. I feel like I already know it. But I dont know from where.
EDIT: Ah yes, Mario Kart. Stupid me.

Looks good so far. BTW how do you map textures to the buildings (in your track, the blocks)? Because a track is much larger than a car, so if you zoom in to map textures, the polygons to be mapped will disappear in UV mapper. And one more question: Did you make the blocks in the same 3D scene or you made them separately and then merged into the main track?

about the 1st one, select the DEPTH axis on ZModeler and drag either way until it stays when you zoom in.
2nd : I made one "Fort" and copied it then swapped textures

Cool, another Mario Kart 64 map. It's been so long since I last played Mario Kart 64 that I'm not sure how close this is too it, but it looks pretty close.
