No, but you can play online using Gameranger for example

The official MM2 servers were closed years ago, maybe together with the Microsoft MSN Gaming Zone service closing. But, how's even possible wonder if the servers of a more than 12 years old game are still opened?
Only in very few cases of games played online by lot of people and for long time the official servers stay opened for years, but don't really know if there's at least a case, though. Big publishers now care to close the servers of games that are just 2 years old...
Alternative multiplayer gaming services like Gameranger, made right to support old PC games no more officially supported, shows that the online playing of old games can live only if is possible implement them dedicated servers.
