Problem: Exporting a none reflecting vehicle in Zmodeler

Postby Doof4294967296 » Wed Apr 03, 2013 9:32 am

How can I export a vehicle without reflection. I was trying to export the Panoz GTR-1 SD (vppanozgt_sd). Its color is only secret shadow. And the texture is distorted due to the vehicle relfections. The Default Panoz GTR-1 Secret Shadow doesn't have vehicle reflections. I'm doing this so that the opponents can use it. :(

You can remove the reflections using MM2 City Toolkit File Browser, find the file in it and then edit the materials/reflections

Textures Still 100% Invisible. What if I just decrease the alpha level of the textures.. hmmm

The alpha level is the opacity. That's not gonna do anything.

I change the alpha level of the textures but it doesn't seem to look like the original perfectly. :(

No I changed my mind. I removed the alpha channels of the textures. And Just set the alpha level in MM2CityToolKit. It got two paint jobs. One is the Secret Shadow and the second one is Silver Chrome (the opaque version of secret shadow). Thank's to sajmon, I discovered a helpful feature of MM2CityToolKit. 8)

You can also do it in Zmodeler, change the transparency thing to Unused(textures wont be transparent in Zmod but they will be transparent in-game). That saves time instead of editing every paintjob in MM2CT
