What is the 3D Renderer of PS1/PSX

Sorry, But this question is irrelevant to MM2. So I put it in the general forums. What is the 3D renderer of PS1? DirectX? Or what?

You've miss interpret me. The thing I was asking is according to the videocard of the 90's console PS1. What is its 3D renderer? Or what do you call the ff:
DirectX
OpenGL
DirectDraw

As far I know, it's OpenGL. Most of the GPU support OpenGL and it was used in old PS3s.

By the way, what you want to do with 3D renderer?

I was just curious with it. But In my opinion, its DirectX..

Wouldn't be DX, that was something specifically for PC games back then. Honestly the closest thing I can match PS1 graphics to would be a software renderer.

It's own renderer. Neither OpenGL or DirectX.. why even ask that here. Maybe ask the ePSXe developers.

I guess your right. They have their own renderer. Btw, how's the graphics of the first release of DirectX (Version 1.0)? Release Date: September 30, 1995
