Hello.
This may not be the right place to put this. If so, I'm sorry , please move it. Otherwise, please read it!
Despite the fact that we'll be moving house this summer, I decided to allocate some time that has now become availiable to me now that exams etc have been finished. I have a number of ideas floating round my head, some seem good, others terrible. One of these ideas is for a track which would be based on a terrific 10 kilometres of French motorway. If you have ever driven through the south of France, you'll know that there are some great places to visit including the Millau Viaduct which is tremendous fun to drive over. However, this is not there area i'm interested in modelling. Around 20 kilometres south of Millau along the A75, the road begins to start going down as it comes of the French plateau and over the far west of the Alps. In around 20 kilometres from here on, the road has to drop from around 800 metres to sea-level. In order for the motorway to achieve this, the road has been directed down a fairly narrow gorge which, in my opinion, is a wonder of engineering and construction. However, despite where the road has been built, there is still a substantial gradient as well as a number of fairly sharp bends (for a motorway). Travelling down this road (2 years ago now), brings back some good memories - I advise you should all visit this area sometime!
ANYWAY, once I found this site and sampled your fantastic car and map models, I felt like I should at least try to do something (even if it fails!). When I made this decision to attempt to create something for MM2, this journey popped into my mind, so I have decided to try and recreate this, or at least try to make a model/map (whatever) based on this route. I will post a few pictures now:

I am aware that this will probably be very hard, especially someone very new to this, so I kindly ask for and help, advice or ideas.
Thanks!

You're showing to have clear ideas about what's to do, keeping in mind of the difficulty of the modeling and the texturing of the landscape. Good luck if you decide to realize it.

I haven't forgotten about this by the way... I started having a look at the tutorials and started to have a go, however I soon stopped as we we're about to move house. Since then, the buyer pulled out (the ****) and we have been on holiday so I have been unable to make any progress whatsoever unfortunately . However I am still determined to create a track even if I don't create this one to begin with.
When I was looking and messing around with the modelling software, I came across a few problems which I will attempt to sort out, however if I am unable to work out these problems, would anyone be willing to offer some advice? Thanks(possibly) in advance
(Apologies if this makes little sense or if there are spelling mistakes...I'm typing from my phone in a very cramped caravan )

Nothing in my first post is to do with game screenshots I'm afraid :/...I just posted a load of pictures from street view mainly for my use for design etc...sorry 'bout that!
Yes, I have not really got anywhere in this "project" (As mentioned in the post earlier )
Nvm, I don't know why I brought it back up
