Press on the PrtScn (Print Screen button) on the keyboard. Then go to MS Paint, Paint .NET or Gimp and press Ctrl and V there at one time. Then save it somewhere on your PC and you have done it. This is the easiest and fastest way to capture a screen shot, I think.

Similar topic exists here. You can use programs such as HyperSnap, Fraps etc. and from above posts. But in some programs like HyperSnap and Fraps, you've to buy them. You can find a appropriate free full-version of Fraps by taking help of web and google.
