Yes, the best site of MM2! Nice things are that there are nice detailed downloads in categories and no Ads. This site must also have MM1 download selection!

I've noticed them too, like a search function for screenshots and a new image for file downloads. IMO the new theme would be yellowish orange or something like that.

I don't know the exact date, just that's since August 2002 that the second version of MM2X exists, owned by DjDecibel. At least an year before there was the simpler first HTML version owned by zZenom.

It was 8/2/02.
