Well, I really would like to change the parked cars that are parked in some places of San Francisco and London default tracks, and also change the undergroud trains of London for some better looking ones. About the parked cars, Classic Madness change them, but it also changes lots of thing in game that are not just the parked cars, and it replaces them for old cars, that can not looks really nice in games with modern cars.

About the underground train, I think anyone made a better looking one, but anyway I would like to change it to another one too.

But, my very first question is: can anyone tell me what is the name of the underground traind and parked cars .pkg files on the MM2 original .ar files?

the underground was va_ug_l I think, just extract the mm2core.ar and view the models with MM2CT or import them with Zmodeler so you will find the basenames easily

Then this means that this is what we do to change traffic!
P.S.: I want to ask 1 thing. Can we add a new train only to 1 or 2 tracks and not in all which have a train path?

Thank you all for your help, mainly Sajmon14. About the parked cars I'm thinking in replace them for some of the default ones, or if I get permission from a creator of one of the traffic mods, I could replace them to some of them. About the underground train I think San Andreas don't has one ingame, so I'm searching if GTA 3, Vice City or IV has one, GTA vehicles have nice quality and I don't have to take hours searching a way to contact the creator of the model like in mods.

GTA3 has a nice one and it's lowpoly so it will suit better, about the traffic cars you can change them but I doubt that you can have more than two

Yes, I think there are just 2 different parked cars models, but they have some different colours, so I can make different paintjobs. Well, now I will try to get the default underground train from GTA 3, I also can try to get 2 different small traffic cars from that game, and make the parked cars with them. I think the parked cars can have a "few" more polygons because the classic madness ones are really detailed, or am I wrong?

The Classic Madness ones aren't really highly detailed and I think you shouldn't make the cars detailed, since there is many of them in the city and game might crash, for example if you plan use GTA3 cars then remove interiors and invisible parts like engine or trunk interior but anyway it would be nice to se how a higher-poly parked car would look like in-game

Hi guys, I'm with some free time, and yesterday I found a 3d model of the london underground train of the game Call of Duty MW 3. It looks really good and I already opened it on ZModeler and texturized it. In the next days I have some time to work in MM2 and I would like to go foward with the project of changing the London underground train :).

Just a question: to people who knows the name of the pkg. files inside MM2Core, can somebody tell me the name of the underground train pkg. files? Just to don't need to open them one by one :P

Nice modding idea, and sounds good about this London underground train model that you've got.

The file is called va_ug_l.pkg. :)

Thank you for the answers and feedback!

This project is going bigger: more than adding a new underground train, ALL textures of the subway tunnels and stations are being replaced with better ones, created by me from some shots I got in Google images.

Most of this new textures are complete and in the next 2 days I hope some screenshots be availiable.

The new underground train is not on the game yet, because I did not had time to even try making it.

Some more progress today, I added 3 new HQ textures. Not enought to take a screenshot, but tomorrow I guess I'll be able to take the first images.

BTW: I made a really nice texture for the underground tunnel walls in 512x512 size, but it looks really pixlerized in game, when in Paint.NET it looks awsome. Why?

There are enough textures to a screenshot, but lots of work is still to be done.

What do you think?

Stations:

Tunnels:

Things that are missing: tunnel floor and rails, advertising posters (the ones you see in the picture are some Black Veil Brides posters I made for private use), trying to improve the quality of some textures.

As you can see in the tunnel, the textures look really pixlerized, but it has 256x256 resolution (I changed it from 512x512 to 256x256 because they look exact the same pixlerized crap in game). Both floor and wall textures of the tunnel are 256x256, walls of the station are also 256x256, floor, roof and security line of the station textures are 128x128.

What do you think? Good enough or complete disaster until now?

About the pixlerized textures, anyone knows why even 1024x1024 textures (the original HD textures I made) look so pixlerized?
