About the vanishing wheels glitch

Postby BUGATTIMAN253MPH » Sat Aug 02, 2014 2:52 pm

I centered the axis of a car I'm working on and the wheels still vanished off in MM2. Have I done something wrong? All I did was delete the old wheels and copied WHL0 for WHL1-3 (WHL2-3 I made wider) and I pressed show all, select all, I hit space and centered the axis from the side view, but it still didn't show up.

I get this issue a lot. Sometimes the fix is as simple as making copies of each affected wheel and deleting the original, then center the axis. If that doesn't work, take the wheel on the opposite/parallel side and copy that to the affected wheel's position, then delete the affected wheel.

Also, is this happening after a fresh install of ZM1?

This issue may appear in ZModeler depending by the object, and it's well visible that the wheels have no axis despite the using of their centering tool... Usually it's enough do what Stan suggests, but it can be always fixed by importing the .pkg file in a new file, fix the needed things with the materials and center all the axis of the objects.

Fixed.

No, I had ZM1 for a long time.
