How to make a car for MM1?

MM1 seriously needs more cars, I'm wanting to pick up on how to make MM1 cars.
Of course yes, in fact exist some MM1 cars with semi-transparent windows. It's enough set the alpha channel to the .tga texture.Do the cars support transparent textures?
Shift 2 cars on Gamemodels.ru have different LODs ? I'd love to see them on mm1, yeah . Hope you're not willing to do this outta courtesy for the ol' timer. I was planning to do some myself some time ago (not shift 2), but from what I've seen/heard while researching (as general for mm1) that 'converted' cars even though made completely bugfree, don't let the game function as flexible. Dunno if its true, won't harm givin a try.I'm wanting to make some Shift 2 cars for MM1, of course using the low poly models.
