I have a small problem with MM1 with MM1 Revisited V3 installed. The game stutters a lot, especially when turning, any clues how to fix it?

What Windows version are you using?

Windows 7 64-bit, SP1. It also only seems to happen during Cruise mode, races work fine most of the time.

Are you by chance using a widescreen resolution? MM1 dislikes widescreen.

It appears that I'm suffering from the same problem. I do lag too while turning in cruise. Just play on 1024x768 resolution or lower, the lag disappears.

I don't think it's got something to do with Revisited mod because the game always lagged while turning at higher widescreen resolutions to me.

Okay so I did some testing, lowering the resolution helps but just a bit, theres still noticeable stutter at 800x600. Lowering the draw distance helps but not much. I can easily see the car slightly bounce everytime the game stutters. Also sometimes when I start the game I simply get the black screen and nothing happens.

Set "Disable Desktop Composition" in compatibility settings to fix the black screen. May also help the lag

Okay so in the other MM1 lag thread I went and tried the suggested fix of the fixed DirectDraw files and now my MM1 actually works great with 1920x1080 and all max details. I disabled desktop composition to get rid of black screen and threw these .dll's into my MM1 folder (https://mega.co.nz/#!QFkGlYab!F2gSowKDg ... -W4PAjEOC8).

It seems to be some specific problem with Nvidia graphic cards, Windows 7 and the Video Patcher that allows higher resolutions. Works great now except some minor graphical glitches in the pause menu and graphic options menu.
