Midtown Madness 2 Endurance

What I want to do here is make a Race Mod that adds in new circuit races that are based on the default tracks but bigger and with more laps, like an endurance race. I'm going to make more of the default cars locked at the start of the game to be more of a challenge. As usual, I'll have to clone both cities to add the races into. I just have two questions.

How do I clone London and SF?
Can I disable Cruise mode for a city?

Disabling cruise mode! 8O IMO nobody will download it then.

I'd suggest a 10 laps-circuit based on SF Racemod's "Big City Loop" and London's "Zany Zigzags" for London (but all around London).

I don't think either that removing cruise mod would have any success.

Well there isn't any point of having it because it's the exact same city to cruise around.

Anyway, I've made the logo for the mod:

So far here are the first two race waypoints in each city:

London: 2 mins 30 secs per lap. I went a bit mad with this one, probably going to redo it.

SF: 2 mins per lap. The waypoint layout is too confusing, going to redo it too.

I haven't actually cloned the cities yet, I've actually replaced the waypoints of the original tracks with the Endurance ones. Do not expect me to be able to add in barriers because I am a car converter after all.

Interesting that some more people like race making. Because of you, now I want to leave laziness and continue my mod. Thanks.

Looking forward for your Circuit Endurance Mod. Remember somethings,
You must know how to make a race hard. It doesn't matter if it has more or less laps, the race must be interesting, the opponents must be competitive.

I saw your plans, but I think making a race long makes the race easy to beat. I always considered the word "Endurance" to be meant as tough, rough and hard.

I'm still excited to play new races.

Then the championship will be canceled Sehawk :P, but I'm afraid the answer is no because this races in the mod are based on motorsport racing, rather than illegal street racing.
I always considered the word "Endurance" to be meant as tough, rough and hard.
Well the races are going to be very long that it will take ages to win the fast cars.

There's a new racemod on the block now? Sweet! I've always had an idea to alter the default circuit races by making them longer and tougher, but I only planned out the races and actually didn't do any progress.

Meh, unlike you and Rohit though, I've got no experience with race making. I haven't even cloned the cities yet and I am not sure if I can make the opponents go through the checkpoints, and even if I could it will take ages to configure each opponent to drive trough the circuit. Damn race making is hard! :fight:
