MM doesn't use the 'shininess' part of the material in Zm. It uses a kind you can edit in mm2ct.

I think he's intending that, Carking. Practically the in-game reflections visibility level.

I don't use to set certain values, but the best settings should be so.

Gloss/Flat Paint colours - A value of about 65.
Metallic Paint colours - Default value.
Matte Paint colours - A value of 0.
Pearlescent Paint colours - A value of about 200.
Windows and Glass on lights - A value of about 220, but for the lights glass covers it should be lowered, because the best texture for it is of a lighter gray than the windows one.
Carbon Fibre - Default value or a bit low, but it isn't always reflecting.

Which reflections mod is that? The result is really nice, but maybe it's excessive on the windows and lights glass. Also, these last should use a lighter gray texture, just look how's on my and Jelly's cars releases.

It's Riva's reflection mod Franch, and thanks for your advice. :)

Actually, should lights not covered by glass be shiny as well?

Of course yes, as usually there's a reflecting part around the bulb, and this last reflects as well. Keep the default reflecting shininess is enough.

Can 200 be a good value for the body? That's how shiny Riva's conversions are.

I prefer to leave it to the default, it's a sufficient intensity. As said above, a value of 200 is proper for a pearlescent paint (and even just polished, too).

My Silver Chrome Panoz GTR-1 shininess is set to 202. Anyway, where did you get that dodge viper of yours?

I got it from Gamemodels.ru. I scrapped the MM2 version though. You can convert it if you want.
