Why do people leave AppApproach and on for dashboard view?

One thing I don't understand with some cars. Why do people leave AppApproach on in the dash views? It's kind of annoying IMO, when you're driving the car the camera moves out of the car and it looks like the dash is attached to the trunk! 8O I always turn it off I don't see why some people don't.

What is AppApproach?

It's a value in (insert car name)_dash.campovcs. It allows the camera to move, that's why the Mustang Fastback dash camera appears to move around when you drive, just go to bumper cam and quickly change from dash back to bumper cam repedately while driving.

Do you know that in the huge Speed Track square, when you go far, starts a earthquake?! Also affects the dash too. 8O

I don't think the cam moves while driving in dashboard view, is it only while transitioning from bumper to dash view? Is this what you're talking about?

That lasts for almost a second after switching from bumper to dash view.

I was wondering what you meant with camera moves since the dashboard camera doesn't move at all... So that values switches on and off the camera zooming effect when quitting from the dashboard view to one of the two chasing cameras. I guess it's set on by default. Overall, it's just a sort of animation which lasts for little time, what real disturb can give?
That's useful to me to set the best position of the dashboard camera, aligning some of the elements of the dashboard and the 3D model interiors.
