Why object positioing in far coordinates are distorted?

Postby PaulXD165 » Sat Oct 03, 2015 3:16 am

I noticed it when you go farther in speed track. Things like your car and the dashboard started to get shaking! Why? This doesn't happen to MM2 only. Games and apps like universe sandbox and MCEdit has this too. Let's say games written in java, like minecraft. At x,z 12552821 you'll notice, the players position isn't syncronized to the blocks anymore. The selection box moves by its own and audio goes random left and right sometimes. Any explanation for this?

Don't ask me, also we don't have the source code, to look at how mm2 works and why this happens. Probably due that the models are not perfectly synchronized, i don't have idea! Also, if you go to that far distance then stop your car, you will see the earthquake has stop.

MM2 needs more work at synchronizing the car at far distances?
Huge values... But MM2 can't be too lazy synchronizing.

Just my logic about how MM2 probably works... Anyway nice bug, earthquake!
