I'm proud to announce my project together with sajmon14 on porting L01 to MM2!
Finally I'm going to complete something I started 5 years ago~
Last week sajmon14 messaged me that he managed to make the L01 PSDL working in MM2, so when I tried it running with some PKG's I had converted back in 2011 it worked flawlessy
Thus started the progress on this again. Obviously, over the past 5 years new tools have been released and because of this, the project is quickly nearing the basics completed.
Right now, my main objective is to convert every single PKG while keeping the map unchanged. Sajmon is working hard on the races.
In total, L01 has 271 Buildings + 69 Props; so far I completed manually converting 125 buildings and 2 props. The traffic has been converted long ago by me back in 2014-2015.
Some eye candy:
Unlike the old conversion of M01, L01 works without any problems in MM2, I always get 60FPS and never crashed. There are some map-related bugs which appear in MC as well, so these don't count. Although I'm not sure, but we might eventually re-convert M01 from scratch next.
We might have a public beta test soon!
