The Knowledge: Cut Content

The Knowledge is a crash course mission for London, intended to teach you the layout of the city. It does a woefully bad job at this though, taking you to only 7 monuments by default.

However, I discovered tonight that there are actually a total of 20 usable audio files for this mission, naming off over a dozen monuments never mentioned in the mission. This is my interpretation of what this mission would look like if it wasn't cut down, with the order of the checkpoints being largely inspired by the numbering of the audio files.

There are two additional audio files naming monuments which are not present in the game. One of which is National Theatre (replaced by generic buildings ingame), and most interestingly, Victoria Station. This one would suggest that Angel Studios originally intended to extend the playable area south of the Thames river.

I guess they have cut the Victoria station because they would need to make it accessible like the underground stations so people wouldnt complain

Very good work with discovering this and recreating the mission, but I see that your Revisited mod helped in making it.

Interesting theory about the two missing monuments said.
But, where is written or said the mission name "The Knowledge"?

In another mission i found a london cab just sitting on the road. No, it was not a traffic car.

Not really. It's entirely possible to bust through the north gates and go around that way. I ran the race a few times that way to make sure there's enough time. I just saw an opportunity to put my otherwise useless shortcut to use.

I built it more for the novelty of going inside the building than anything... didn't realize you had such an opinion on it.

I know that you made it for that reason, also because the building has an empty space inside IRL. Anyway, in the case of that lesson mission, that edit to the building gives a cut help to save at least 1 second. Your video shows it clearly.

I think it's actually a fun little thing worth to be released as a mod.
