I thought i was the only one who knew that.

At least you published the steps here.

The great thing about WayBackMachine is that every car is saved and downloadable. :)

There is a little trick when a link of a car doesn't work, cut some part of the link and then paste it to the WayBackMachine, it will search all the versions for you, choose a old date of course.

Yeah, as seen with other examples in past, WayBackMachine is a very good way to visit at least some pages of MM2 websites no more online since many years.
Anyway, the MM2C website is no more online, but all its downloads files are still in the files server. Check them here, and if from the browser you get an advice about a dangerous website or something like that, ignore it.

I always suggest this but apparently nobody listens to me... But anyways, why don't we backup all these mods from least known websites on MM2X, or at least MMA? We have to be honest here, most those sites already died, and the ones still arround surely won't stay up and running for much longer... If we don't do so as soon as possible, we might loose them eventually.

Agreed. There are some good addons that were lost when the other sites went down.

I have always been waiting for this moment, no more searching because it will be right here :D

Franch88 and DjDecibel it's time to make a choice that will affect MM2 for forever :D

Who knows maybe some day Microsoft may decide to start making MM again, when they see how alive this site is?

Yeah, don't count on it, Rockstar San Diego and DICE have most likely forgotten these games. Besides, at this point in time, a sequel will most likely be entirely different from the original games, due to new locales and cars. I just hope lazy cops are kept, since I can't stand being busted like in TDU and Need for Speed.

A sequel? Nah, I highly doubt that, mainly since the game was developed by two big companies (Well, Rockstar is big at this moment), so they wouldn't really waste resources on a title that wouldn't be an hit. Best chance would be an inspired game from an independent studio or something (psst Carking, where are you? :P ).

The forums are still online: https://forum.mm2c.com, but some dumbass (probably _Tim_) disabled the homepage

Sorry, _Tim_

Why don't we upload those downloads at MM2x? But how does that site leads to MM2c?

MM2c isn't really that active anymore so we should probably upload some stuff.
