Hi.
I want to get started into modelling, but I need an answer for a question:
its possible to start modelling from a screenshot? will it work the same that with blueprints?
well, that's it for now.

Hi.
Yes you can. However it requires some skill, not recommended for beginners (like myself. and you). So:
start by modelling blueprints, and one day you'll be able to model even from scratch.
well, that's it for now.

Hi,
The problem with screenshot is the perspective. The center of picture is good but you don't have good view on front and rear (for side view for exemple). On a blueprints, you don't have perspective because it's not a photo but a technical draw. All is flat and sometimes with dimensions. You can be more precise with blueprint and have a better realism for your model. However, often you must work on bluprint to have the same size between views and to have car's elements good aligned with other views before use it to model.
See the difference between both pictures :

*blueprint

On perspective, you can't have a good view of rear, top (incl. Hood) and front part. Picture is center from a point of view.

That model is so poorly detailed you could even model it from eye
If some say higher poly cars don't fit well on the game, I'd argue that one doesn't either for the exact opposite reason. Well, if having it in.game would be fun to you, that's what matters after all, go ahead and give it a try. It seems quite easy to reproduce just by looking.
