API dll error for programs

Hello all,

So on my old windows 7 computer, I've been having an issue with multiple programs that I've recently installed saying "This program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer." I've tried reinstalling the programs and still none of them work, and google searches turned up nothing of use. Anyone know what's up?

P.S. I'm still having issues with MM2 on my windows 10 laptop incase anyone has any ideas/solutions for that, but this is my current big issue

It doesn't sound a problem hard to fix. See if this video tutorial can help you.

I'm going to try it; what worries me is that every time I tried to install a new version of C++, the install wouldn't work and would get cut off at the end. I'll try it though.

People have commented on the video with the same issue, so I might wait to see if I can find a better solution. Thanks anyway Franch88!
