Bibus Buses: MBZ Citaro O530 G and Setra SG 219SL

Hello, i write to announce that a new bus will be in free download since the end of the year : It 's the Mercedes Benz Citaro O530 G 4 doors with Bibus service colors.


It is based on the AD156's chassis. AD156 has created the London version. I 've started by puting the doors on the right, creating colors, renovate all the inside from floor to roof, the dash, and creating textures, animations, door sounds and modifing the tuning.

It's engine power allow to have a great cruise speed by keeping a very good road stability.

But i have some problems with the trailer : it doesn't stay on its wheels, it jump, the wheels don't respect the road bound. The trailer has the as on the road !

But it will be on the net on day !

If someone knows how to modify the probleme ?

Therefore, i am looking for a special vehicle : a car with a double trailer ! I think it was the hummer in one of its web-version which had 2 trailers.
If someone has this car in his computer, or if someone know how to create a double trailer, please answer me. Thanks

Hello,

After the first lines of 1st version of MBZ Citaro bibus Brest 2004, i present you, four years later, the Citaro Bibus with Brest 2008 colors. There are provisionnal colors, the real ones will appear may be in june (in one month), but it's a way to promote this traditional International festivity of sea and of sailors which takes place from 07/11 to 07/17 each 4 years in Brest since 1992.


This year 2008 is a special year because Brest is also the city of the start of "Tour de France" (bike race across all the country), on 3,4 and 5 of july, just before Brest 2008.

So, here members of www.tc-brest.fr, interested in buses, follow the evenement.

Advice to instal it : Moove the old file of 1st version of citaro bibus from MM2 file, and put the new. It will not be replace if you only past the .ar file because they have not the same name.

The bus is good, but there are texture problems in the dashboard.

Ah ! euh can you explain me describe me what problem it is, because i have not the same at home.
Is it a probleme with gear texture (VDO green screen and warning) ? or with quality of dasboard texture ?

The dashboard textures are good (only the steering wheel has white edges). There aren't the needles textures: without them, the needles objects are white. Maybe there aren't the files or they has a wrong name or special characters like this "

Ok i have just seen the problem (i hav not had time yesterday i was sailing).

In fact i use the same dashboard in the citaro and in the citaro G (articulated bus). When i wanted to put the file in downlaod i wanted to delete some unused files (because of my low conenction, 56kb !!) and i have deleted one dash texture. But when i have tested at home there was no pb because there was the 2 ar files in MM2 file : the citaro ar file and the citaro G ar file.

I will create a patch and replace the file on my web site until this evening.

About the transparency, normally only glasses are transparent, and if you look very near you can see a transparency like the real, with little points of the texture.
Yes i know about the managemnt of transparency, how Zmodeler manage it is a real cheat !! I discorved 2 months ago that it depend of the place of the detached object in the object list.
The last transparent object lets appear objects up but objects up don't let appear objects down !!

How can i do ? i detach all polys of glasses one by one and i do an uniselect ? i am going to try.



I will see the pb in the evening, i m going to sail again !

The bus windows look and the lost dashboard textures are fixed now.

I don't like this bus, because there is too much advertisement. All windows of the bus are not transparent. I'll recommend to remove a part of the advertisement.

This bus has the livery of a real life one. It's about an event called Brest 2008 or something.
Really the bus windows are semi-transparent if you look better.

This was the livery of citaro G during last Brest festivity in 2004 :

You can see that advertisement was all over the bus.
I don't know what will be realy the livery of 2008, which will appear in 1 month, but already some coaches have the rear painted.

Todays, we have also some citaro which look like IKEA kitchen (green, red or beige). They have also a few part of windows no painted.

As soon as i know the real livery of Brest2008 's citaro i will create a patch to replace actual Brest2008 textures. Peurhaps i wil include IKEA livery...
