Zmodeler Problem
I have a new problem with Zmodeler. I am unable to zoom, and do anything in the editing views with my mouse. For the 3D view, I have to use my right mouse button to zoom in and out. The mouse wheel won't do anything though. How do I fix this issue?

That's strange, were you able to do that before? I know that there's a similar problem of not working scrolling wheel with some games and 3D applications.
Try this: if you use Windows Vista, go to the program .exe file properties, click on Compatibility shedule and check "Disable visible themes" voice or something.

Maybe there's something wrong with the program settings file. Can happen that the menu bars positions aren't saved after having closed the program, and this other problem could depend from the same file. Go in the directory C:\Windows and delete the file Zmodeler.ini. After, run the program, adjust the menu bars positions and other program options, and see if you can zoom in the views with the mouse scrolling wheel.

If it's so, this should be something related with your mouse and its drivers, if they're installed. You could check the mouse settings in Control panel or try to re-install its drivers.

Well, so long as you can zoom with the right-mouse button, i guess youre fine. Its more precise anyway. For the other views, you'll just have to use ZM's zoom tool.
Now that I think about it, it might have happened to me before. Try reinstalling ZM.

Do you use another ZM version ? Because the serie 1.xx use the same settings so maybe there's conflicts but ... if the Franch's tip doesn't work, maybe it's a problem with the mouse.
BTW if I'm right you're using the third mouse button to scroll/zoom but this one doesn't work at this time so you must use the right button as zoom, correct ?
Well maybe Silent is right, it's time to get a new mouse
Is it a recent model ? Can you remove the bottom to clean it (if it's an old one) ?

I am pretty sure that the only version of ZM I have is 1.07b, but I'll chack again.Do you use another ZM version ? Because the serie 1.xx use the same settings so maybe there's conflicts
Yeah, but the right mouse button only works in the 3D view. I can't do anything in the editing views.BTW if I'm right you're using the third mouse button to scroll/zoom but this one doesn't work at this time so you must use the right button as zoom, correct ?
I do have a few extra mice. I'll try those.Well maybe Silent is right, it's time to get a new mouse
The mouse is a recent model, and has an optical eye, no ball.Is it a recent model ? Can you remove the bottom to clean it (if it's an old one) ?
I'll try those ideas, and see if it works.
