Problems starting up mm2

When I double click on the midtown2.exe icon nothing happens. I am checking in the task manager >>> processes window and it show the application is running however I do not find it in the applications window and the game does not run as if I haven't launched it. Any ideas how to solve this problem Thanks, please help

i had this trouble time ago.. MM2 have some issues with new hardware.. btw... it you wait.. like 5 mins.. mm2 will start

Mine is always slow I will download the thing witch makes it launch faster.

My mm2 does load slow, this works for me:

1. Double-Click the midtown2.exe Icon about 20-30 times
2. Wait about 1 Min, do it again
3. Eventually MM2 will start, along with lots of errors saying mm2 is already running.
4. Open task manager > processes, and end the midtown2.exe's apart from the one which is using the most memory

I think this problem is not caused by hardware but by WinXp. I know a man who has quite an old config and have installed Xp on his PC. He has the same lanching problem. I launch my MM2 by double-doubleclicking on icon waiting 4-5sec and doing it again if it doesn't launch i click and click and click... and than have millions windows with MM2 is already running:)

some times i get heap overrun maybe ur gettin it too try gettin car loader and turn off some cars or u could go to microsoft and look for patches idk

Go to MM2C.com, go to the left bar and select archive,or files or downloads, or 1 of those 3, scroll down until you find it.
