Project: Real Angel

Hi all,

Lately I've been pretty annoyed by the fact that a New Beetle RSi and an Audi TT can overtake and outrun a Nissan R35 GTR, a Panoz Roadster's top speed is more than 173 mph and that Panoz GTR 1 could go at over 273 mph.

FAQ:

How did you get to think about this idea?

Well, on Voobly/IGZ there was this 'war' between two of my friends to see who can make the fastest Panoz GTR-1.
I was like OH HEY, why don't I extract the bound, geometry and tune folders of the GTR-1?

First try, failed but when I extracted the whole tune folder, it worked.

Now I had another brainstorm, and I thought hey why don't I make the GTR-1 like the one in reality and not some fancy supercar that goes faster than a Bugatti Veyron.

This was a great success, however some minor problems occurred in between.

So what does this 'Project Real Angel' do to my MM2?

Hopefully it will modify nearly all of the default cars' specifications to their real replica i.e: Panoz Roadster top speed limited to 132 mph.

Why hopefully?

Major bugs and problems can come, which MAY lead the project to failure.

So who's in the team?

Currently I'm the only one working on this project.

When teh release will come?!!??!!?!

Note: This is not the Mini's true top speed. But I can only reach this much due to the car's small figure of 62 hp. The default speed is still there, but it will take you hours to get it.

Nice project. Yeah, the standard game cars haven't realistic performances, and probably the files of their tuning is different for player and opponent cars. Good idea give a fix to this.

Nice idea.

You could also change wheel textures in some cars, like in non-racing paintjobs of Panoz GTR or Eldorado or add MM1 sounds to Panoz Roadster

Actually my next project is planned to make better quality textures for the default cars and to make new damage textures for them also.
