Hey all, I have found out something cool about the pathset file that places drawbridges in a city.
In the PATHS Editor in MM2CT, when you type "open:" before the object name of a bridge, the bridge will stay open in-game, like in the Megamod! And if you type "inactive:" before the object name, the bridge will stay closed.
I don't know if this also works for the other pathset files, but I just wanted to share this cool little thing.

Interesting, so is possible decide if the objects that works like bascule bridges have to stay always opened or always closed. But, if you want to make a such thing in an your city, just add an INST or PROP object that looks like an opened or a closed bridge.

With PROPS or INST, you cannot change the angle of a standard bridge object in a way that it looks like an open bridge. That's when the bridge pathset file is useful.

Yeah, that's right, but is good do what I've said in case the bridge object is made by yourself. If you want to use the default game ones, that looks closed by default, to have it opened, so rotated in a certain angle, instead to edit them and make them new objects of your city, use the way suggested by you. It's a pretty particular occasion, anyway.
