Hey guys! I was thinking of doing a community patch but I don't know what people find annoying and want fixed

I have currently only fixed the "basename_show not found" error on showcase, so now it's like MM1 and shows no showcase at all, I think I'll release this one as "MM Community Patch v0.1" soon!

Hmm, don't know, maybe make it possible to show shadows in bridges? Or smoke in rearview, like in MM1?

This is going to be a fixed Midtown2.exe file, right? When's so, include the replay mode using and those ambient lightning fixes that you did some time ago. As known, ain't that's possible to do big things, what's done is fix and improve what's present.
Very good to have solved that, is annoying get a game crash just because of the missing vehicle showcase screen JPG file.

Hey, I got an idea! Aren't there some cars that when you select the Dashboard and they don't have it, it just crashes the game? That would be cool to fix.

i'm not aware that there is such a thing as crashing cuz of missing dash , it just goes to a camera without the dashboard textures ... people still check the showcase ?

nice idea but is there a lot to be fix (that can be fixed ? ) ... my idea would be to make a tunnel to the road on that part of the city in SF where you get trapped between 4 buildings

How about fixing the traffic at the end of the Highway. They always stop and they never move again.

Thanks for the first built release download.
My proposes are always the same, which will give a great improvement to the game: remove or at least increase the game memory using limits or whatever so to be able to use way more add-ons without get game crashes; get the 32 bit colors in hardware rendering. They can be impossible to realize, I know.

Are you kidding or what? The game doesn't never crash in case a car misses the dashboard...
You've however reminded me of the rare cases of when the dashboard camera faces backwards the car; this thing could be fixed...

How about fixing the traffic at the end of the Highway. They always stop and they never move again.

This happens when the player causes accidents there or stops in front of them. It's related with the traffic working and because of the roads that intersect with the highway.

Triple_X, clearly your idea doesn't fit with the purpose of this project. This is about fix game bugs and issues, not about city modding.

There are in rare cases, crashes without a dashboard, I know exactly one car that does it

I meant by going on the highway in the beginning and then the traffic just stop. It happened without anything hitting anything.

A thing I just noticed! If you try to open the HUDMap in a track without a map, it crashes! A possible fix for that?

You can make a patch that includes a blank hudmap for each city without map, but thats a lot to do
