Is MM1 one of the most difficult racing game?

I've finished all the races in Professional difficulty just recently. And I got so many attempts to finish races in the end. Now I have two things, Is MM1 one of the most difficult racing games? Is it one of the most realistic racing games? Anyone share their opinion.

I never completed MM1, i have a save game 100%.

Project CARS is very impressive graphically (still has things that need work though).

Not really. MM1 is a really challenging arcade game, but not a really hard game.

I never succeeded to complete all MM1 races, also because I hadn't tried for much times. I had played the races many years ago, finding them pretty hard because of the vehicles handling and of the opponents. Probably now I could be able to win them all.
I agree with KingAndy. I would say that's pretty difficult, pretty like other racing games of those years, but it's not absolutely one of the most realistic games; the realism there's in cars driving simulators.

When I played MM1 in my first times, the races were quite hard, especially the blitz ones. Races with AI were not as quite as hard, most races are dumb because of noobish performance of MM1 opponents. Only some races are good ones (Beat the Bridges, Crosstown Switchback, Frosty Finale, City Central, Old Town Twist etc.)

No game is hard or easy, it depends upon when you master it. If you play it a lot, you're going to be a pro with it.

When you keep the 'physics realism' to maximum, cars will over-steer with a keyboard. I have completed the game but with tricks like ramming all opponents with the Freightliner and performing PIT maneuvers..

Loop-de-Loop it's not very difficult, i pass it with the Red Rocket.
And almost impossible with the panoz roadster...

It's probably not even close to the most difficult. And it's not the most realistic.

You don't get me, I wasn't asking of the graphical detail. I mean is it one of the most realistic racing game in physics? I wasn't specific sorry.

I know these games, Gran Turismo 1-4 has no damage physics. But yes. As you say, I love this game and it is one of the very first games I ever played on the PlayStation console. And Forza? I haven't played it yet. But I've watched some gameplay.
