Who wants to do illegal things? Let's keep everything here in the forum legal, not things like LimeWire and MM2 hacks(but not anymore, because MM2's abandonware now).

Abandonware? Who would have thought...

No mm2 is not abandonedware. Mm1 is, however. Where did you see that? Link?

No, MM2 is abandonware. Franch88 gave the link to it in the forum here a while ago, but I can't remember which one.

mm1 is abandonware i even downloaded it,but mm2 still has mods in the making so its not abandonware

Well. I know that a software after five years become abandonware, especially if there won't be a future version (MM3 for Xbox can be esclused). This is the link that a member has putted as server to play MM2 online: https://b-cf.net/mm2. Clicking on it you'll go in a webpage that is called "Brenden's Official Midtown Madness 2 Server" where is possible to get MM2; it offer also a server to play MM2 online (maybe with only the downloadable MM2 from there). I haven't tried to download that MM2 (is a .zip archive with the game files). At least give it a check.

Although KGB Archiver is the ULTIMATE archiver ever. One GIG to ten MEG.

I'm not going to check this out because, well I don't download a 500MB file if I already have it. Sorry.

Zip archive? Aw, anymore you should use winrar and make it .rar, and remove the load up movies and include a No CD Crack.

Better the .rar or .7z archive, that's a more compress format.
There's some one that in the HQTM-Team forum has made this... a MM2 Lite version, without intro movies and locked MM2 cars. He putted the .torrent link, but the moderators have removed it. I don't know if it was a serious thing.

I'm not going to check this out because, well I don't download a 500MB file if I already have it. Sorry.

You'd only do that if you didn't have the game for MM2, and everyone here has MM2.

Now that you talk about it...I have my own use for it. If you don't want to re-install the game again(like it breaks), just use the downloaded one to play again. This would be really useful, especially if you lost the MM2 CD.
