Ok thats pobably not going to look very nice, but I have seen worse cars for MM2.
I was looking through the forum when I decided to try modeling, and in about 2 hours I had built this.

I don't thinks it's too bad for the first thing I have ever modeled!

My first model was worst. ;) Seriously, it looked like it had been through a wreck (front was very scrunched up and it had a good amount of unconnected polys.

It's an enough good low polygons model, but it can much improved. You really need to calculate the normals.
But as you've told it's a modelling practice model; you can do a new better one.

Good, now just edit the blueprint texture to make some paintjobs. :) I know that this is a practice model, but the polygons planning is totally wrong and the whole polygons placement isn't linear.
Keep in mind these first rules to start a new model making. ;)

Right, I plan to finish the car and then start the new one properly. :)

But I have had a problem, when I come to weld the two halves together it will only select one side (the original).
:?
Anyone know how to fix the the problem?
