Can't start game

Hi, I recently installed mm2 and I'm getting this error:

now my meager experience in c++ is telling me that it's having trouble allocating memory for the game, this shouldn't be a problem seeing as I have 2 GB. Can anybody help me?

Do you have mods,maps and cars in the game?
If you have to much stuff mostly cars that can do it.

Is the cd in good New?

Go to ::::::::::::::::anyone know where i can get
Mm2 online for free. post in help room download game and that will tell you if that is the game or computer..
If it is the computer wait for professonal help from a admin.
any way did you do full install ? do it. Download latest patches from microsoft . Get nocd crack..That is what I can tell you for now.

what? I've had the disc for years and it has worked. Maybe I'm using a different hardware set up this time around.

I should have posted this in the first post:

Dell Dimension 3000
Pentium 4 2.8 GHz Prescott
2 GB ddr ram
HD Radeon 2400

That is better than my pc .. look at my post i edited it the one above yours

If it has to miny scratchs on the cd it will make it not work any more.It corrups the game files. Dose it have vista on it? that might be the problem to.

It works with xp sp2 fine just read my posts..

MM2 works pretty well on Windows Vista, also without using the Windows XP compatibility mode. The only known problems on that OS are said in this topic.
Your problem sounds like that the game installation got an error on some files, like the game .ar ones; possible scratches on the CD surface should be the cause.

Earl, there's no need to remove the link to get MM2 for free; I've already posted them in this topic. Try to get it from there.

Yea that is why I said download that full game and that will tell hem if it is the computer or game..

Just download the trial and if it works than it is the game damaged cd..

For now, ignore the two MM2 for free (one is the CD image and the other the game folder).
Does that error happen while the first game loading? Have you installed the Windows XP patch and then replace the game .exe file with this one?
Try also to see if the Trial version works, as Earl said.

See if magic iso,winrar or tugzip opens it but try trial if speed boot fails..
