Do you have the mc2 mod? There was a unlocked file for races. Open ar file with winrar, go to race folder and edit aimap or aimap_p file of an race with notepad(p stands for professional profile). In this file you will see information about opponents and their basenames, you need edit them and write basename of car you want to use, you can check the other cars basename by opening it with winrar, check how the files are named in tune folder, thats the cars basename, I can explain that on gameranger if want and if you are online

Thats what I meant too. Its not possible.I meant as in a specific code for their color, like say, making your Panoz GTR-1 opponents appear in their Secret Shadow paintjob. No, that was already discussed somewhere. Is it also possible to change the colors of the opponents' vehicles?

I found out that the color of the car depends on the position of the car at the start of the race. So there can be two ways to change the car color:
1. Change the car position (in race files, just change the order of the cars). But there is no guarantee you will get the color you want. This leads to the next (and surefire) way...
2. Make a texture mod....just switch the paintjobs. For example, if in game the color is red and you want green....then make a texture mod by renaming the green color files with the name of the red color and rename the red color files with the name of the green color.

Better to change that in the .pkg-file with MM2CT2. Make a texture mod....just switch the paintjobs. For example, if in game the color is red and you want green....then make a texture mod by renaming the green color files with the name of the red color and rename the red color files with the name of the green color.

Yes, you can use the game's default files. It's in mm2core.ar. You can extract the content with deAR2, it's in the programs section on this site. Just open deAR2 and browse for mm2core.ar. Click on "list files", "select all" and then start. You can find the files you need in the "race"-folder when extracted. If you have Vista or 7 you have to copy the files to somewhere else because it won't let you save the files you edited. Ok, now you have to open the race you want to edit. The scheme is: <racetype><number>.aimap. Open it in Editor. At the bottom you can see basenames that you should change. Do that and save. Now put the file you edited in a folder called "race" and put this folder into a zip folder. rename the .zip to .ar and put a "!" in front of the filename. Now place it in the MM2 folder. Finished, have fun!

If you send me the files I'll check it for you! Just upload them somewhere (e. g. mediafire.com) and send the link to me in a pm.I tried that, and put it in the MM2 folder, but my opponents doesn't change.
