I now have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit edition with NVIDA graphics card. However, when I installed Zmodeler v1.07b on it and opened a z3d file, it takes about 5 to 6 seconds to switch from objects to vertices level. Even more delay is experienced when anything (ANY movement, be it re-sizing views, or using any tool) is done.
Zmodeler's help guide says that running it in software mode makes it extremely slow, but how to know that it is on software mode and moreover how to put it on hardware rendering mode? Or is this due to some other reason?
Zmodeler runs extremely slow

Software mode will do this.
To change the rendering device, goto Options>3D View>Select Device
Once here, make sure to pick Direct3D T&L HAL'
After this, it should run flawlessly

Problems again. It lags worse than ever, even with the settings you suggested. Not only Zmodeler, MM1 and many other 3D applications lag occasionally without any apparent cause. System specifications. That worked, thanks.
