MM1: To buy or to NOT to buy?!?

Hello, comrades and other people...

Today is a day that I decide I REALLY want Midtown Madness 1. After about 7 or 6 years of continually slamming into various tinted walls, driving up and down up and down down the freeway in a City Bus, a 99' Mustang and a Panoz (and a VW Beetle for the VW Demo), the day has come...

...I REALLY want Midtown Madness!

But should I get this from a website online, that looks pretty mysterious and have this game wrapped and zipped in a Torrent that requires something that's not WinRAR or 7zip to open it up and take it out...

...Or, should I avoid this hassle and pay to get it, and possibly have to find that it won't work???

If you find a good opportunity to buy a copy of the game, surely it'll be an used one, do it. It could depend also on how much you want to spend. IMHO, you must do it if you already have an original copy of MM2.
If you choose to download it, you should already know to do it on your own and don't talk about it. Search for another one if you don't like the one that you've already got.

Download.
You can get both by downloading, MM1's original music ISO and non-music normal MM1.

Download 'Express Files' and then download MM1 from it. No need of wasting money in buying.

I've got a pretty long history of downloads that shouldn't be mentioned here. Take my advice, most of that "download such-and-such free" stuff is worthless. Its either a download of something you don't want, a virus, a "registration required", or otherwise. You're better off finding a copy on ebay or something.

It's better to be understood than said..
Anyway, before you really go with your decision of 'buying' a 14 (right?) year old game, do a google search to know how peer-to-peer networking works and what are its advantages, etc.. and how to use it.

Apart that this topic was kinda useless since the beginning, because only you can decide if you want to buy a game or not, whatever is the reason, now, it's ending with the illegal games downloading discussion, already faced lot of times and already well cleared that can't be done...
