Good luck, Silent. Hope you can get this sorted out and get the files back ;)
I'd be more concerned about my personal files like pictures and documents, I'd much rather be able to get those back. So let's hope the USB hard drive case works out :)

A lot of really young people on here :O Wasn't expecting people to be that young. Well, my name's Brian, I'm 16, and... yeah that's about it. I live just outside of Toronto, in Canada. I started playing MM1 whenever it came out... I must've been 5 or 6 :P I also remember beating the game with my dad...

Cool drifting and burnout event, nice videos.
Thanks Franch :)

Within the next couple of years, I plan to buy a really cheap sh*tty car, attempt some burnouts, then drive it in the lake (apparently someone drove their car into the lake last year). Have some fun with it :P

I really like that, great job on filming this! :D Thanks It was a lot of fun, but due to being surrounded by rubber smoke, me & my dad smelled horrible after. And we were blowing bits of black out of our nose. It was awesome, especially being right up against the wall so close to the track. And...

Re: when where

where is the show next year & when Whoops, I never answered this. It's held in the same place every year - Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. And the dates for 2010 are July 8th to July 11th, 4 days. More info here: https://www.atlanticnationals.com/ Also, I finally got the burnout videos up :D Pa...

I'd go insane while just imagining making all those intersections, then splitting them, etc... Good luck with this project :)

Celica. Hasn't been made, so do this. :) After the Celica you should do a 2009/2010 car. :) Like the ones requested. Its your choice, so model what you want. ;) ...there's an awesome Celica available. Here A little search never hurts ;) If you're gonna do a Celica, do one from like 1992 or something.

it is not my first model, just the first car that i am releasing.:D Yeah, I know. I'm just saying there are a few bugs with it (that have been mentioned above), but it's a nice vehicle and you should fix those issues for a version 2 release ;) I also find that the reflections look pretty weird at t...

Okay... Well to get it that way I detached each set of faces facing the same direction. So now I should unite all the vertices and calculate the normals again?

Ah, alright. I don't think I'll need it, but it's always good to learn new tricks/methods. After doing the normals on the bumper, it looks like it's in flat shaded view when in fact it isn't. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? :P https://img39.imageshack.us/img39/1182/subbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb.jpg

Don't use a simple normals > calculate from the whole object, just select the faces to calculate and detach them, then use the calculate tool. Here's a good tutorial : https://fr.babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcesar3d.free.fr%...

The two-sided poly thing was just for the screenshot - most likely, this will not have an interior ;) As for the hood, I did the polys like that so they would line up nicely when I make the body lines :) Do you have any suggestions on how to do the normals well, apart from just doing Normals > Calcu...
