Well, I don't have other ideas about this problem. If the installation goes well and the game doesn't work, and neither the copied game folder downloaded from MM2BR works, I have to say that an operating system reinstall could solve this problem; or maybe a graphic card driver update... :roll:

Yes, it looks really like an OS problem. Try and reinstall Windows.

He said the trial works it he just needs the full verson..
damaged cd's can cause that. :wink: Well any way it is the game not the computer.. 8)

I fixed it, turns out I had a bad players folder, I just deleted it and the game worked.

You said it was new so I thougnt it was noting to do in the game like mods and player files. Well :) Glad you fixed it .. :)

Earl, he said that neither the two downloaded games worked, so it cound't be the sratched CD.
The player folder problem could be, but he didn't told me in which moment the game crashes; there's a pretty recent topic here about this.
It's too weird that the two downloaded games didn't worked because of the same problem, the bad player profile...

I think when I uninstalled it didn't erase the players folder.

Yeah, it's so, you have to do it manually.
But that neither the game folder whithout installation downloaded from MM2BR works, sounds too weird; it should use the player folder that comes with it, and not the one of the uninstalled game.

OK, glad to hear, that you solved the problem. 8) Don't forget to delete this profile folder, when you'll uninstall MM2 another time.
