i lost my mm2 cd so i just hacked the mm2 trial

Oh. There's been a post about this, but it was a long time ago. I think I heard that you just download the No-CD MM2.

I did that and replaced it with the mm2 trial exe. It does not do anything. I was thinking maybe replacing the following mm2 trial files with the full mm2 ones would work: mm2aud.ar, mm2tex.ar, mm2core.ar; I never tested this to see if it was true. I think there is some kind of simple hacking that can make it work without these files though.

Oh wait, I shouldn't have said all of this, should I?

There you go, HummersRock.

it is so easy to hack mm2 you rename the mm2trial.arfile to midtown2 and it asked for the cd so i got the cd patch and it started ,and the hole city of sf free and it did not trial time up,and then i could put cars and tracks in with it working.

For the concern of the mm2 download link listed above, is it hard to use winrar?

After downloaded that MM2 version you need the program WinRar to open the downloaded file, a .rar file. WinRar isn't hard to use, it's just like WinZip, if you already know it.

I think that that MM2 game folder will work like the original one; I haven't tried it.
